Morning sickness sucks
Sorry I have not been posting anything lately, I have been taken over my morning sickness. It has pretty much consumed my life, where I can try to get done the necessary work that I must get done and then rest. I wish there was a magic recipe for helping with the nausea, but nothing seems to help but eating constantly and moving around a lot, which is not easy to do when your job requires you to be in front of a computer most of the day. One of the most difficult parts of the day is the morning, because I have to take my synthroid in the morning and wait a 1/2 hour till I can eat breakfast, so it just starts the day off wrong everyday. Since I am going to be in week 9 on Thursday, I am praying for some relief in the near future. I have my first OB appointment tomorrow, so I will post later this week with how that goes!

Visit to the Endocrenologist
My endo appointment was yesterday afternoon and it went very well. My levels were last checked in March and TSH was 1.6. The endo's test came back 2.6, still very good. The recommended levels during the first trimester should be under 2.5 so I am right on the borderline. He increased my synthroid from 75mcg to 88mcg. I still have about a months worth of 75's left so he told me to take an extra pill once a week. I asked if I should take one in the morning and one at night the day I take two and he said no, just take both at once, the synthoid will stay in your system for about a week at a time so it's doesn't need to be a daily adjustment. I remember reading somewhere that most docs will tell pregnant women in the first trimester to take an additional pill a week and that will give you a standard boost.
On a personal note, the morning sickness and exhaustion have been in full swing this week. I can barely function and it is not great. With my first pregnancy, I was sick, barely could keep food or drink down 'sick', for a good two weeks at this point, so I am thankful that is not the case this time around, but a constant nauseous feeling is not fun. I have been trying to rest as much as possible but I still have work and house work piling up, so I am hoping relief is coming soon.
Baby is 7 weeks!!
